ABQnews| Deutschland / Hannover | Niedersachsen erhöht zur Durchsetzung der Corona-Beschränkungen die Polizeipräsenz auf den Straßen. Polizei und kommunale Ordnungsdienste würden die angeordneten Geschäfts- und Restaurantschließungen “mit aller Konsequenz” durchsetzen und Menschenansammlungen auflösen, kündigte Landesinnenminister Boris Pistorius (SPD) am Donnerstag in Hannover an. Er habe angeordnet, die Polizeipräsenz auf den Straßen daher ab sofort über das übliche Maß hinaus zu verstärken.
Die von den Behörden erlassenen Anordnungen seien klar verständlich und dienten dem Schutz von Menschenleben, teilte der Minister mit. “Jeder, der dagegen verstößt, gefährdet sich selbst und andere.” Verstöße würden daher auf Grundlage des Infektionsschutzgesetzes mit Bußgeldern geahndet oder als Straftaten verfolgt. Jeder Bürger des Landes müsse “seine sozialen Kontakte sofort auf das absolute Minimum reduzieren”. Die Ordnungskräfte würden dies durchsetzen.
