ABQnews| Deutschland / südafrikanischen | Bundeskanzlerin Angela Merkel (CDU) kommt am Donnerstag im Rahmen ihrer Afrika-Reise in der südafrikanischen Hauptstadt Pretoria zu Gesprächen mit Staatschef Cyril Ramaphosa zusammen. Auf der Tagesordnung stehen außerdem ein runder Tisch mit Wirtschaftsvertretern und der Besuch eines Werks des deutschen Autobauers BMW. Zudem sind Diskussionen mit Studenten und Treffen mit Vertretern der Zivilgesellschaft geplant.
Am Freitag reist Merkel weiter nach Angola. Ziel ihrer Reise sei es, die jüngst von den neuen Präsidenten in beiden Ländern begonnenen Reformprozesse zu unterstützen, hieß es aus Regierungskreisen in Berlin. Zudem werde es um die Vertiefung der wirtschaftlichen Zusammenarbeit, den Ausbau erneuerbarer Energien sowie die Libyen-Krise gehen. Deutschland ist nach China der zweitwichtigste Wirtschaftspartner des G20-Mitglieds Südafrika.
