ABQnews| Deutschland / USA / Berlin | Außenminister Heiko Maas hat die angedrohten US-Sanktionen gegen die Gaspipeline Nord Stream 2 scharf kritisiert.
“Die europäische Energiepolitik wird in Europa entschieden, nicht in den USA”, erklärte er am Donnerstag. “Eingriffe von Außen und Sanktionen mit extraterritorialer Wirkung lehnen wir grundsätzlich ab.” Zuvor hatte auch das Wirtschaftsministerium die Sanktionsdrohung aus Washington gegen die Pipeline durch die Ostsee kritisiert, die russisches Gas nach Westeuropa bringen soll.
