ABQnews| Deutschland / Berlin | Im Streit um die Haushaltspläne von Bundesfinanzminister Olaf Scholz fordert Unionsfraktionschef Ralph Brinkhaus mehr Engagement des SPD-Kanzlerkandidaten.
“Wir dürfen uns jetzt nicht kaputtkonsolidieren und die Wirtschaft abwürgen”, sagte Brinkhaus am Freitag im Deutschlandfunk. “Auf der anderen Seite müssen wir möglichst schnell wieder auf den Pfad der finanziellen Solidität zurück.” Das sei die Herausforderung, vor der Scholz jetzt stehe. “Und da ist es ein bisschen einfach zu sagen, naja, wir werden 2021 die Schuldenbremse reißen. Da hätten wir gern mehr Informationen.”
Scholz geht fest davon aus, dass der Bund 2021 erneut die im Grundgesetz verankerte Schuldenbremse reißen wird, wie er am Mittwochabend bei einer SPD-Veranstaltung sagte. Er verwies dabei auf anhaltend hohe Belastungen durch die Coronavirus-Krise. Mit dieser Ankündigung sorgte er für Ärger beim Koalitionspartner CDU/CSU.
