ABQnews| Deutschland / Berlin | In Berlin und anderen Städten haben am Sonntagnachmittag bundesweite Kundgebungen gegen Rassismus und für Solidarität in der Corona-Krise begonnen. Allein in der Bundeshauptstadt kamen bereits zum Beginn der Proteste mehrere hundert Menschen unter dem Motto #SogehtSolidarisch zusammen, um ein “Band der Solidarität” zu bilden. Auch in anderen Städten wie Leipzig und Hamburg waren Protestveranstaltungen angekündigt. Das von 130 Organisationen unterstützte Bündnis will “verantwortungsbewusst und mit Abstand” demonstrieren.
In Berlin kamen bereits zum Auftakt der Kundgebung laut Polizei gut tausend Menschen zusammen. Dabei würden auch die Abstandsregeln “vorbildlich” eingehalten, sagte ein Polizeisprecher. Es sei alles “ruhig und friedlich”.
Zuletzt hatte sich die Bundesregierung besorgt gezeigt über die Verstöße gegen die Corona-Auflagen bei Großdemonstrationen mit zehntausenden Menschen. Berlins Innensenator Andreas Geisel (SPD) forderte vor dem Wochenende die Demonstranten auf, die Hygieneregeln einzuhalten.
