ABQnews| Deutschland / Berlin | Bundespräsident Frank-Walter Steinmeier hat sich bei den Kindern für ihre Disziplin in der Corona-Krise bedankt. “Ihr konntet Freunde und Verwandte nicht besuchen, nicht zum Spielen, nicht raus ins Grüne, Kitas und Schulen waren geschlossen”, sagte Steinmeier in einem Interview des Kinderkanals KiKa zum Kindertag, das Montagabend ausgestrahlt werden sollte. “Dass Ihr Euch trotz alledem so gut an die Regeln gehalten habt, finde ich klasse und dafür sage ich herzlich Dank.”
Steinmeier bedankte sich zugleich auch bei den Eltern für ihren Einsatz. Sie hätten in dieser besonderen Situation ihren Kindern Ängste nehmen und sie trösten müssen, neben ihrer ganz normalen Arbeit auch das Essen auf den Tisch bringen und Hausarbeiten betreuen müssen. “Davor habe ich viel Respekt und deshalb sage ich: ganz herzlichen Dank allen Eltern.”
