ABQnews| Deutschland / Berlin | Bundespräsident Frank-Walter Steinmeier hält am Samstag eine Fernsehansprache zur Corona-Krise. Die Rede soll am Abend nach den Hauptnachrichtensendungen von ARD und ZDF gesendet werden. Auch andere Sender können sie ausstrahlen. Mitte März hatte sich bereits Bundeskanzlerin Angela Merkel (CDU) in einer Fernsehansprache an die Bürger gewandt und an sie appelliert, die Auflagen zur Bekämpfung der Corona-Pandemie einzuhalten.
Dass sich der Bundespräsident in dieser Form zu Wort meldet, ist ungewöhnlich. Zuletzt hatte Steinmeier bereits mehrmals Videobotschaften zur Corona-Krise veröffentlicht. Darin stimmte er die Bevölkerung auf weiter schwierige Zeiten ein und lobte zugleich Solidarität und Zusammenhalt.
