ABQnews| Deutschland / Berlin | Das Bundesfinanzministerium will Unternehmen steuerlich helfen, die in der Corona-Krise Desinfektionsmittel, Schutzmasken und sonstige medizinische Güter spenden.
“Es gibt viele Spenden an Krankenhäuser, Arztpraxen und Pflegeeinrichtungen”, sagte Finanzminister Olaf Scholz am Freitag der Nachrichtenagentur Reuters. Dies solle gefördert werden. “Medizinische Sachspenden sind jetzt umsatzsteuerfrei. Das gleiche gilt, wenn für medizinische Zwecke unentgeltlich Personal gestellt wird.” SPD-Politiker Scholz hofft, dass die Spendenbereitschaft der Firmen dadurch weiter zunimmt.
Sachspenden unterliegen in Deutschland als unentgeltliche Wertabgaben grundsätzlich der Umsatzbesteuerung. Dies wird nun nach einem Beschluss von Bund und Ländern ausgesetzt – befristet bis zum Jahresende.
