ABQnews| Deutschland / Heinsberg | Im von Coronavirus-Infektionen besonders betroffenen Kreis Heinsberg in Nordrhein-Westfalen dürfen seit Sonntag eine Vielzahl von Menschen wieder ihre Häuser verlassen. Etwa zwei Drittel der bislang rund 1000 Menschen in häuslicher Quarantäne können sich nun wieder frei bewegen, wie ein Sprecher der Kreisverwaltung mitteilte.
Diese Menschen hatten im Zusammenhang mit einer Karnevalssitzung am 15. Februar mehrere Tage in ihren Wohnungen bleiben müssen, in dieser Zeit aber keine Symptome gezeigt. Die Karnevalssitzung vor gut zwei Wochen in der Gemeinde Gangelt gilt aus Ausgangspunkt der Infektionen mit den neuartigen Coronavirus im Kreis Heinsberg. Die Zahl der bestätigten Fälle in der Region stieg am Sonntag auf zunächst 65.
Zugleich wurden am Wochenende aus nahezu allen westdeutschen Bundesländern bestätigte Coronavirus-Fälle gemeldet, darunter nun auch aus Schleswig-Holstein und Bremen.
