ABQnews| Deutschland / Hamburg | Bei der Bürgerschaftswahl in Hamburg hat sich am Sonntagmorgen eine höhere Wahlbeteiligung als bei der Wahl vor fünf Jahren abgezeichnet. Bis 11.00 Uhr gaben bereits 29,6 Prozent der Wahlberechtigten ihre Stimme ab, wie die Landeswahlleitung bekanntgab. Im Jahr 2015 hatte die Beteiligung zum gleichen Zeitpunkt bei 24,2 Prozent gelegen. Bei der Berechnung sind auch Briefwähler berücksichtigt.
Rund 1,3 Millionen Wahlberechtigte sind bis 18 Uhr aufgerufen, über die Vergabe der 121 Sitze im Parlament zu entscheiden. Es handelt sich nach bisherigem Stand um die einzige Wahl auf Länderebene in diesem Jahr. Umfragen zufolge kann die seit 2011 regierende SPD mit einem klaren Sieg rechnen.
