ABQnews| Deutschland / Libyen / München | Am Rande der Münchner Sicherheitskonferenz treffen sich am Sonntag (ab 09.00 Uhr) die Teilnehmer der Berliner Libyen-Konferenz zu weiteren Gesprächen über den nordafrikanischen Krisenstaat. An den Verhandlungen nimmt auch Bundesaußenminister Heiko Maas (SPD) teil. Im Anschluss an die Gespräche (gegen 11.00 Uhr) ist eine Pressekonferenz von Maas und dem UN-Sondergesandten Ghassan Salamé geplant.
Der Libyen-Konflikt war ein wichtiges Thema im Rahmen der 56. Auflage der Münchner Sicherheitskonferenz. Die zwölf Teilnehmerstaaten der Libyen-Konferenz in Berlin hatten sich am 19. Januar zur Einhaltung des UN-Waffenembargos gegen Libyen und den Verzicht auf weitere Unterstützungsleistungen für die Konfliktparteien verpflichtet. Dennoch wurden auch danach immer wieder Verstöße gegen das Embargo gemeldet.
