ABQnews| Deutschland / Berlin | Die SPD-Mitglieder können von heute an darüber abstimmen, wer den Parteivorsitz übernehmen soll. Die rund 430.000 Sozialdemokraten können bis zum 25. Oktober online oder per Brief wählen. Von den ursprünglich angetretenen acht Duos und einem Einzelbewerber sind noch sechs Zweierteams im Rennen. Das Ergebnis der Mitgliederbefragung wird am 26. Oktober veröffentlicht.
Falls keins der Duos auf mindestens 50 Prozent der Stimmen kommt, organisiert die Partei vom 19. bis zum 29. November eine Stichwahl zwischen den Plätzen eins und zwei. Doch auch danach ist das Siegerteam formal noch nicht gewählt: Dies geschieht erst auf dem SPD-Parteitag vom 6. bis zum 8. Dezember in Berlin.
