ABQnews| Deutschland / Saudi-Arabien | Die Attacken auf die saudiarabische Ölindustrie können nach Einschätzung von Bundesaußenminister Heiko Maas die Lage in der Golf-Region noch weiter verschärfen.
“Ich verurteile diese Angriffe”, sagte der SPD-Politiker am Montag in Berlin. Die Lage sei schon so schwierig genug. Nötig sei eine Deeskalation. “Die Lage ist außerordentlich besorgniserregend.” Deutschland analysiere zusammen mit seinen Verbündeten, wer für die Taten verantwortlich sei.
Die USA haben Saud-Arabiens Erzrivalen Iran die Schuld für die Drohnenangriffe gegeben. Diese haben einen Großteil der saudischen Öllieferungen lahmgelegt und für einen kräftigen Ölreisanstieg gesorgt.
