ABQnews| Türkei/ Istanbul | Im Istanbuler Prozess gegen den Türkei-Vertreter der Organisation Reporter ohne Grenzen (RSF) wird heute das Urteil erwartet. Erol Önderoglu muss sich wegen einer Solidaritätsaktion für die prokurdische Zeitung “Özgür Gündem” verantworten. Ihm drohen wegen “Propaganda für eine Terrororganisation” mehr als 14 Jahre Haft. Mit ihm sind die Menschenrechtsaktivistin Sebnem Korur Fincanci und der Autor Ahmet Nesin angeklagt.
Der Prozess läuft bereits seit November 2016. Önderoglu und seine Mitangeklagten hatten 2016 für einen Tag die Chefredaktion der später geschlossenen Zeitung “Özgür Gündem” übernommen. Dutzende weitere Menschen sind wegen der Solidaritätsaktion mit dem Blatt angeklagt. Financi muss sich zudem in einem weiteren Prozess wegen Unterzeichnung einer Petition gegen das Vorgehen der Regierung im Kurdenkonflikt verantworten.
