ABQnews| Deutschland / Berlin | Die CDU-Vorsitzende Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer ist erneut Spekulationen entgegengetreten, sie könnte Bundeskanzlerin Angela Merkel (CDU) vor der nächsten regulären Bundestagswahl im Jahr 2021 ablösen. “Bis 2021 ist Angela Merkel Kanzlerin – ich habe meine Arbeit als Parteivorsitzende zu tun, und darauf konzentriere ich mich”, sagte Kramp-Karrenbauer den Zeitungen der Funke Mediengruppe (Montagsausgabe). Sie gehe von der “vollen Legislaturperiode” aus, das sei auch ihre Arbeitsplanung.
Kramp-Karrenbauer machte zudem auf die Frage nach einem möglichen Eintritt ins Bundeskabinett deutlich, dass sie sich auf die Partei konzentrieren wolle. “An dieser Präferenz hat sich nichts geändert”, sagte die CDU-Chefin. Der Hauptteil der Arbeit liege noch vor ihr. Auf dem Parteitag im kommenden Jahr werde die CDU ihr neues Grundsatzprogramm beschließen und darauf aufbauend das neue Regierungsprogramm. “Dann wird auch die Kanzlerfrage entschieden”, hob Kramp-Karrenbauer hervor.
