ABQnews| Frankreich / Paris | Wegen eines Verfahrens um Scheinbeschäftigung im Europaparlament verliert die Partei der französischen Rechtspopulistin Marine Le Pen eine Million Euro aus öffentlichen Mitteln. Das entschied eine Kammer des Pariser Berufungsgerichts am Mittwoch. Französische Richter hatten Anfang Juli die Auszahlung von insgesamt zwei Millionen Euro für Le Pens Rassemblement National (Nationale Sammlungsbewegung, RN, die frühere Front National) gestoppt. Auf Einspruch Le Pens halbierte das Berufungsgericht die Summe aber nun.
Grund sind mögliche Strafzahlungen an das Europaparlament: Die französische Justiz ermittelt, weil sich Le Pens Partei über angebliche Assistenten im EU-Parlament insgesamt sieben Millionen Euro erschlichen haben soll. Le Pen wirft der Justiz vor, ihre Partei in die Pleite treiben zu wollen.
