ABQnews| Deutschland / Niederlande / Syrien / Mainz | Der in Mainz wegen mutmaßlicher Anschlagspläne in den Niederlanden festgenommene Syrer ist an das Nachbarland ausgeliefert worden. Beamte des Landeskriminalamts Rheinland-Pfalz übergaben den Verdächtigen am Dienstag am Grenzübergang Goch den niederländischen Behörden, wie die Generalstaatsanwaltschaft Koblenz mitteilte. Die Auslieferung war in der vergangenen Woche bewilligt worden.
Der 26-Jährige wird von den niederländischen Ermittlern verdächtigt, an der Vorbereitung eines Anschlags beteiligt gewesen zu sein. Er wurde Ende Dezember in der Wohnung eines Cousins in Mainz festgenommen. Über einen Wohnsitz in Deutschland verfügte er nicht. Auch war er hierzulande nicht strafrechtlich in Erscheinung getreten.
