ABQnews| Libyen / Tripolis | Libyen ist nicht außergewöhnlich, fast alle Sektoren waren Opfer von Internetangriffen. Die libyschen Organisationen litten 2018 unter verschiedenen illegalen Angriffen, Täuschungen, Spam, sowie Angriffen auf das Internet (Brute-Force Angriffe). Brute-Force-Angriffe hängen an verschlüsselten Texten und versuchen mit allen möglichen Schlüsseln den verschlüsselten Originaltext zu entschlüsseln. Diese Angriffsart nimmt an, dass der Hacker den Verschlüsselungsalgorithmus sowie den Bereich des Schlüsselcodes kennt.
Librokots entschied sich zu helfen und stellte den libyschen Stellen die Statistiken 2018 durch Cyberangriffe zur Verfügung. Die Organisation half dabei, den aktuellen Status Libyens zu ermitteln und sich auf die Bedrohungen von 2019 vorzubereiten.
Laut dem Bericht 2018, wurden in Libyen über Open-Source-Systeme am häufigsten, Windows und Android Data angegriffen. Dies ist besonders einfach, da die libysche Infrastruktur stark heruntergekommenen ist und das Sicherheitsbewusstseins der Benutzer nicht sehr hoch ist.
