ABQnews| Deutschland / Berlin | Sternsinger aus allen 27 katholischen Diözesen in Deutschland haben am Montag Bundeskanzlerin Angela Merkel (CDU) besucht. Bei dem traditionellen Besuch im Bundeskanzleramt in Berlin sangen die in ihren Sternsingergewändern angereisten 108 Jungen und Mädchen mit Merkel. Außerdem brachten sie dem Kanzleramt den Segen “Christus mansionem benedicat – Christus segne dieses Haus”.
Die Sternsinger informierten die Kanzlerin zudem über die diesjährige Aktion, bei der besonders für Kinder mit Behinderung gesammelt wird – mit Schwerpunkt auf Peru. Insgesamt beteiligen sich nach Angaben des Hilfswerks in diesem Jahr 300.000 Mädchen und Jungen als Heilige drei Könige an der Geldsammlung für weltweite Hilfsprojekte. Der Besuch im Bundeskanzleramt gehört seit 1984 für die Sternsinger dazu, Merkel empfing die Könige bereits zum 14. Mal.
