ABQnews| Argentinien / Buenos Aires /G20-Gipfel | Die Staats- und Regierungschefs der großen Industrie- und Schwellenländer (G20) kommen heute zu ihrem zweitägigen Gipfeltreffen in Buenos Aires zusammen (12.30 Uhr Ortszeit, 16.30 Uhr MEZ). Auf dem Programm der ersten Arbeitssitzungen stehen unter anderem die Lage der Weltwirtschaft und das Thema Handel.
Am Rande des Gipfels treffen sich die Teilnehmer zu zahlreichen bilateralen Gesprächen. Bundeskanzlerin Angela Merkel (CDU) will etwa mit dem chinesischen Präsidenten Xi Jinping und US-Präsident Donald Trump sprechen, trifft allerdings wegen einer Flugzeugpanne wohl erst am Abend in Buenos Aires ein. Auch Trump plant ein Treffen mit Xi. Eine Zusammenkunft mit Russlands Präsident Wladimir Putin sagte Trump wegen der Eskalation des Krim-Konflikts ab.
