ABQnews| Deutschland / Bayern / München | Nach der Ankündigung seiner Kandidatur für den CSU-Vorsitz erklärt sich Bayerns Ministerpräsident Markus Söder heute in München auf einer Pressekonferenz (12.30 Uhr). Söder hatte am Wochenende mitgeteilt, er sei bereit, sich “in den Dienst der Partei zu stellen”. CSU-Chef Horst Seehofer will sein Amt bei einem Sonderparteitag am 19. Januar zur Verfügung stellen.
Einen anderen Bewerber als Söder für den Parteivorsitz gibt es bislang nicht. CSU-Vizechef Manfred Weber stellte am Wochenende klar, dass er sich nicht um das Amt bewirbt. Söder war bereits Seehofers Nachfolger im Amt des bayerischen Ministerpräsidenten.
