ABQnews | Syrien / UN | Die syrische Ratspräsidentschaft erklärte, Präsident Bashar al-Assad habe sich am Dienstag mit dem Hilfskoordinator der Vereinten Nationen, Martin Griffiths, getroffen und mit ihm Wege besprochen, Syrien bei der Erholung von den Folgen des Erdbebens vom letzten Monat zu helfen und Bedingungen für die Rückkehr von Flüchtlingen zu schaffen.
Die Präsidentschaft sagte, al-Assad habe „praktische Schritte und Maßnahmen erörtert, die sich direkt auf den Weg der Erholung von den Folgen der Erdbebenkatastrophe in verschiedenen Sektoren auswirken und Ergebnisse erzielen könnten und gleichzeitig dazu beitragen, angemessene Bedingungen für die Rückkehr von mehr syrischen Flüchtlingen in ihre Städte und Dörfer.”
