ABQnews| USA/ Hollywood | Filmstar Michael Douglas (“Wall Street”, “Basic Instinct”, “Traffic”) ist mit einem Stern auf dem Hollywood Walk of Fame geehrt worden. Bei der Zeremonie in Los Angeles zeigte sich der Oscarpreisträger am Dienstag tief gerührt: “Das ist eine große Ehre und ich werde nicht jünger, ich will das mit meiner Familie genießen”, sagte der 74-jährige Schauspieler.
Begleitet wurde Douglas unter anderem von seiner Frau Catherine Zeta-Jones, von seinem 101 Jahre alten Vater Kirk Douglas und von der Schauspielerin Jane Fonda, die mit ihm in dem Akw-Katastrophenfilm “Das China-Syndrom” gespielt hatte. Mit Tränen in den Augen wandte sich Douglas bei der Zeremonie an seinen Vater, eine lebende Hollywood-Legende: “Ich sage es ganz einfach und von ganzem Herzen: Ich bin so stolz, dein Sohn zu sein.”
