ABQnews| Deutschland / Berlin | CDU-Generalsekretärin Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer erklärt sich heute in Berlin (11.00 Uhr) zu ihrer Kandidatur für den Parteivorsitz. Auf dem CDU-Parteitag vom 6. bis 8. Dezember in Hamburg stellt sich Bundeskanzlerin Angela Merkel als Parteivorsitzende nicht zur Wiederwahl. Von einem Dutzend Bewerber werden nur den prominenten Kandidaten Chancen eingeräumt.
Das sind neben Kramp-Karrenbauer Bundesgesundheitsminister Jens Spahn und Ex-Unionsfraktionschef Friedrich Merz. Während die frühere saarländische Ministerpräsidentin als Vertraute Merkels gilt, könnten Spahn und Merz die CDU wieder auf einen konservativeren Kurs führen wollen.
