ABQnews| Deutschland / Frankfurt | Die Bundesanstalt für Finanzdienstleistungsaufsicht (BaFin) hat gegen den Pharma- und Agrarchemiekonzern Bayer eine Geldbuße von 340.000 Euro verhängt.
Hintergrund sei die zu späte Abgabe einer Stimmrechtsmitteilung, teilte die BaFin am Freitag mit. Über- oder Unterschreitungen der meldepflichtigen Stimmrechtsanteile sind der BaFin unverzüglich, spätestens innerhalb von vier Handelstagen zu melden.
Bayer erklärte, der Konzern habe im Rahmen der öffentlich angekündigten Verkäufe von Aktien der ehemaligen Kunststofftocher Covestro im Frühjahr 2018 eine gesetzlich erforderliche Meldung über die kumulierte Zahl von Covestro-Aktien und -Derivaten verspätet abgegeben. “Bei der Aufklärung hat Bayer mit der BaFin voll kooperiert.” Das Unternehmen werde gegen das Bußgeld keine Rechtsmittel einlegen.
