ABQnews| Deutschland / München | Nach vier Jahrzehnten hört der frühere Fußballnationalmannschaftsarzt Hans-Wilhelm Müller-Wohlfahrt auch als Mannschaftsarzt des FC Bayern München auf. Wie der Verein am Freitag in München mitteilte, beendet Müller-Wohlfahrt Ende Juni seine Tätigkeit beim deutschen Rekordmeister. Der Facharzt für Orthopädie und Sportmedizin war mit einer kurzen Unterbrechung mehr als 40 Jahre lang Mannschaftsarzt des Fußballklubs. Bei der Nationalmannschaft zog er sich nach der Weltmeisterschaft 2018 in Russland zurück.
Müller-Wohlfahrt erklärte, er blicke auf seine Zeit beim FC Bayern “glücklich und sehr zufrieden” zurück. Die gemeinsamen Erlebnisse, die Erfolge und die Menschen, die er in diesem Verein kennengelernt habe, “haben mein Leben nachhaltig geprägt”. Müller-Wohlfahrt war 1977 zu den Bayern gestoßen. Künftig will er sich auf die Betreuung der Patienten in seiner Münchner Praxis konzentrieren.
