ABQnews| EU/ Ungarn | Ungarn hat die Schließung seiner umstrittenen Transitzone zur Unterbringung von Asylbewerbern angekündigt. Damit folge die Regierung einem Urteil des Europäischen Gerichtshofs (EuGH), sagte Regierungsmitglied Gergely Gulyas am Donnerstag in Budapest. Der EuGH hatte die Unterbringung von Asylbewerbern in einem abgeschotteten Containerlager an der ungarisch-serbischen Grenze in der vergangenen Woche als “Haft” eingestuft.
Die Transitzone sei “eine Lösung gewesen, die Ungarns Grenzen geschützt hat”, sagte Gulyas. Das Urteil des EuGH sei “bedauerlich”, doch da Ungarn es befolgen müsse, sei die Schließung der Transitzone unvermeidlich. 280 Insassen würden in Asylbewerber-Unterkünfte verlegt.
