ABQnews| Deutschland / Mannheim | SAP-Chef Christian Klein will nach dem Ende der Doppelspitze bei dem Softwarekonzern auf eine Gehaltsanpassung in seiner neuen Funktion als alleiniger Vorstandssprecher verzichten. Zudem werde Klein 20 Prozent seines Fixgehalts für wohltätige Zwecke spenden, zitierte die “Rhein-Neckar-Zeitung” (Samstagsausgabe) einen SAP-Sprecher. Klein wolle damit einen Beitrag zur Überwindung der Corona-Krise leisten.
SAP sei der Ansicht, dass die aktuelle Krise mit ihren enormen Auswirkungen auf Wirtschaft und Gesellschaft nicht die passende Zeit für steigende Managementgehälter sei. Zuvor hatte das Unternehmen in der Einladung für die virtuelle Hauptversammlung am 20. Mai vorgeschlagen, die mögliche Maximalvergütung für den Vorstandssprecher auf jährlich 34,5 Millionen Euro festzulegen.
