ABQnews| Frankreich / Paris | Frankreich will den Langstreckenverkehr mit Zügen, Autos und Flugzeugen einschränken, um die Ausbreitung des neuartigen Coronavirus zu bremsen. Der Langstreckenverkehr werde in den kommenden Tagen “schrittweise verringert”, sagte Umweltministerin Elisabeth Borne am Sonntag vor Journalisten. Ziel sei es, den Langstreckenverkehr auf das “Allernötigste” zu reduzieren, einen sofortigen Stopp solle es nicht geben, damit “jeder nach Hause zurückkehren” könne.
Zuvor hatte Frankreich bereits den Einzelhandel und die Gastronomie massiv eingeschränkt. Seit Mitternacht müssen alle Restaurants, Bars, Cafés, Diskotheken und Kinos geschlossen bleiben. Auch die meisten Geschäfte werden dicht gemacht, Ausnahmen gibt es für Lebensmittelläden, Apotheken, Banken, Tankstellen und Kioske. Ab Montag sind auch alle Schulen, Universitäten und Kindertagesstätten geschlossen.
Frankreich ist neben Italien, Spanien und Deutschland eines der am stärksten von der Corona-Krise betroffenen Ländern der Welt.
