ABQnews| Deutschland / Berlin | Die Preise für Schnittblumen in Deutschland liegen nach Angaben des Statistischen Bundesamts rund um den Valentinstag in der Regel ein ganzes Stück höher als sonst. Im Februar 2019 kosteten die Blumen 4,7 Prozent mehr als im Durchschnitt des gesamten Vorjahrs, wie die Behörde am Dienstag in Wiesbaden mitteilte.
Im Jahresvergleich lag die Inflation bei Schnittblumen bei 2,4 Prozent, die Preise für Blumenlieferservices stiegen von 2018 auf 2019 um drei Prozent. Pralinen wurden dagegen etwas billiger. Die Preise sanken um 0,5 Prozent. Der Valentinstag am Freitag wird jedes Jahr am 14. Februar begangen und gilt als Tag der Liebenden.
