ABQnews| Deutschland / Berlin | Rund 10.000 Bauern wollen am Dienstag vor dem Brandenburger Tor in Berlin gegen die Agrarpolitik der Bundesregierung demonstrieren. Viele machten sich schon am Samstag oder Sonntag per Traktor auf den Weg in die Bundeshauptstadt, was vielerorts zu Verkehrsbehinderungen führte.
Die Bauern wollen gegen das Agrarpaket der Regierung protestieren; zahlreiche Umwelt- und Naturschutzvorschriften gehen ihnen zu weit. So kritisieren die Landwirte etwa das geplante Insektenschutzprogramm und die Düngeverordnung. Auf die Straße treibt es viele Landwirte auch wegen der nach ihrer Ansicht “negativen Stimmungsmache” gegen die Branche. Anlass für Protest ist zudem das Mercosur-Handelsabkommen der EU mit vier südamerikanischen Staaten. Umweltministerin Svenja Schulze (12.15 Uhr) und Landwirtschaftsministerin Julia Klöckner (14.15 Uhr) wollen zu den Bauern reden.
