ABQnews| Deutschland / Frankfurt | Das Zentralkomitee der deutschen Katholiken (ZdK) berät auf seiner am Freitag (09.30 Uhr) in Bonn beginnenden Vollversammlung über die Inhalte des sogenannten synodalen Wegs, mit dem die katholische Kirche in Deutschland Fortschritte bei der Aufarbeitung ihres Missbrauchsskandals erreichen will. Dabei sollen sich Arbeitsgruppen mit den verschiedenen Foren des synodalen Wegs austauschen. Außerdem will die Laienbewegung 69 ZdK-Vertreter als Mitglieder der Synodalversammlung benennen.
Der synodale Weg steht am Freitag im Mittelpunkt der Beratungen. Am Samstag will das ZdK zum Abschluss auch über Segensfeiern für gleichgeschlechtliche Paare beraten. Die katholische Kirche lehnt Homosexualität weiter als Sünde ab, dennoch gibt es Bemühungen um mehr Offenheit gegenüber gleichgeschlechtlichen Paaren.
