ABQnews | Russland / Deutschland | Russlands Außenminister Sergej Lawrow hat sich gegen ein vom Parlament angeregtes Verbot der Deutschen Welle ausgesprochen.
Er unterstütze Vorschläge zum Entzug der Arbeitserlaubnis ausländischer Medien nicht, erklärte der russische Chefdiplomat am Mittwoch laut einem Bericht der Nachrichtenagentur Interfax. Das Parlament hatte das Außenministerium im September zu einer Prüfung aufgefordert, ob die Deutsche Welle weiterhin in Russland arbeiten dürfe. Es berief sich auf eine Untersuchung, wonach der Sender im Sommer zur Teilnahme an nicht genehmigten Protesten aufgerufen habe. Der Rundfunkrat der Deutschen Welle wies die Vorwürfe zurück.
