ABQnews| Israel / Tel Aviv | In Israel hat die Liste Blau-Weiß von Benny Gantz für Mittwoch geplante Koalitionsgespräche mit der Likud-Partei von Ministerpräsident Benjamin Netanjahu abgesagt. Blau-Weiß erklärte am Dienstagabend, die Voraussetzungen für neue Verhandlungen über eine mögliche Einheitsregierung seien derzeit nicht gegeben. Möglich seien aber Gespräche zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt. Am vergangenen Sonntag waren die Gespräche ausgesetzt und auf Mittwoch vertagt worden.
Bei der Wahl Mitte September hatte sich der Likud 32 Mandate gesichert. Gantz’ Liste Blau-Weiß kam auf 33 Sitze. Bislang verfügt keines der beiden Lager über eine Mehrheit in der 120 Sitze zählenden Knesset. Staatschef Reuven Rivlin erteilte schließlich Netanjahu den Auftrag zur Regierungsbildung. Bereits bei der Wahl im April hatte es keinen klaren Sieger gegeben.
