ABQnews| Frankreich / Paris | Die Pariser Behörden haben vor mehreren Demonstrationen am Samstag ein massives Polizeiaufgebot mobilisiert. Rund 7500 Sicherheitskräfte sind nach Angaben der Polizeipräfektur im Einsatz – so viele wie zuletzt am 1. Mai, als es in Paris zu schweren Krawallen kam. Geplant ist unter anderem eine Kundgebung für mehr Klimaschutz (14.00 Uhr). Auch Gegner der Reformpolitik der Regierung und Anhänger der Protestbewegung der “Gelbwesten” wollen auf die Straße gehen.
Die Behörden fürchten massive Ausschreitungen. Für den Pariser Boulevard Champs-Elysées wurde ein Demonstrationsverbot verhängt. Zu Klimaprotesten ist auch in anderen französischen Städten wie Straßburg, Lyon und Bordeaux aufgerufen. Umweltschützer gehen derzeit weltweit auf die Straße. Anlass ist die bevorstehende UN-Vollversammlung in New York.
