ABQnews| EU / Brüssel | Der Europäische Gerichtshof (EuGH) lehnt ein Ausweitung des Zugriffs auf elektronische Ersatzteilinformationen von Autoherstellern durch freie Werkstätten ab.
Automobilkonzerne seien nicht dazu verpflichtet, unabhängigen Werkstätten Zugang zu Reparatur- und Wartungsinformationen für Fahrzeuge in elektronisch weiterzuverarbeitender Form zu gewähren, teilte das höchste europäische Gericht am Donnerstag in Luxemburg mit. Eine entsprechende EU-Verordnung sei dahingehend auszulegen. Der Fall geht auf eine Klage des Gesamtverbands Autoteile-Handel in Deutschland gegen den koreanischen Autokonzern Kia(000270.KS) zurück. Der Verband machte geltend, seine Mitglieder könnten die Autodaten nur auslesen, aber nicht verändern oder weiter verarbeiten. Der Bundesgerichtshof wandte sich mit der Frage der Auslegung der EU-Verordnung an den EuGH.
