ABQnews| EU / Brüssel | Die künftige EU-Kommissionspräsidentin Ursula von der Leyen gibt heute die Verteilung der Fachressorts in der Brüsseler Exekutive bekannt (12.00 Uhr). Welche Kommissare in Brüssel wichtige Ressorts wie Wettbewerb, Wirtschaft und Finanzen oder Handel bekommen sollen, sorgt seit Tagen für Spekulationen.
In der EU-Kommission stellt jeder Mitgliedstaat einen Kommissar. Von der Leyens Team sollen mit 14 Männern und 13 Frauen erstmals fast 50 Prozent Frauen angehören. Ab Ende September müssen sich die Kommissarskandidaten Anhörungen in den Fachausschüssen im Europaparlament stellen. Damit die Kommission am 1. November ihr Amt antreten kann, muss das Parlament sie noch als Ganzes billigen.
