ABQnews| USA / NEW YORK | Zwei Wochen lang war sie emissionsfrei über den Atlantik gesegelt, am Mittwochabend MESZ kam sie etwas erschöpft in New York an. Mit ihrem berühmten „Schulstreik fürs Klima“-Schild ging sie in einem Jachthafen in Manhattan von Bord und stellte sich trotz aller Strapazen zahlreichen Fans und Journalisten, die so einige Fragen an sie hatten (siehe Video oben). Ein Thema dabei: der US-Präsident. „Alle fragen mich nach Donald Trump …“, so die 16-Jährige, die ein Treffen weiterhin für Zeitverschwendung hält. Sie würde ihm raten, „auf die Wissenschaft zu hören – aber das tut er offensichtlich nicht“.
