ABQnews| Saudi-Arabien / Riad / Aramco | Der weltgrößte Erdölkonzern Saudi Aramco hat angesichts der gesunkenen Ölpreise auf dem Weltmarkt im ersten Halbjahr weniger verdient. Der Nettogewinn des Unternehmens belief sich auf 46,9 Milliarden Dollar (41,9 Milliarden Euro), das waren zwölf Prozent weniger als im ersten Halbjahr 2018, wie Aramco am Montag mitteilte. Das Unternehmen veröffentlichte erstmals Halbjahreszahlen. Aramco sprach “trotz der gesunkenen Ölpreise” von “soliden Resultaten”.
Der Konzern hatte sich im April im Zuge einer geplanten Übernahme erstmals in die Bücher schauen lassen – und dabei astronomische Gewinne enthüllt. Demnach summierte sich der Nettogewinn im vergangenen Jahr auf 111,1 Milliarden Dollar. Damit ist der Konzern das profitabelste Unternehmen der Welt.
Geplant ist ein Börsengang von Aramco, der bei einer Platzierung von fünf Prozent bis zu 100 Milliarden Dollar einbringen könnte. Der Börsengang ist Teil eines wirtschaftlichen Reformprogramms, das Saudi-Arabien unter anderem unabhängiger vom Öl machen soll. Er könnte Ende 2020 oder Anfang 2021 stattfinden.
