ABQnews| USA / Großbritannien / London | US-Präsident Donald Trump hat zum Auftakt seines Staatsbesuchs in Großbritannien den Londoner Bürgermeister Sadiq Khan attackiert.
“Er ist ein Totalversager (‘stone cold loser’), der sich auf die Kriminalität in London konzentrieren sollte, nicht auf mich”, twitterte Trump am Montag noch aus der Präsidentenmaschine Flugzeug “Air Force One”, ehe er am Flughafen Stansted in der Nähe von London landete. Bürgermeister Sadiq Khan, “der nach allem, was man hört, als Bürgermeister von London eine schreckliche Arbeit geleistet hat”, sei “fies” zum Präsidenten der Vereinigten Staaten gewesen, “dem bei weitem wichtigsten Verbündeten des Vereinigten Königreichs”.
Khan hatte zuvor die Entscheidung der britischen Regierung kritisiert, Trump zu einem Staatsbesuch einzuladen.
