ABQnews| China / USA | China reagiert auf die jüngsten US-Strafzölle mit Gegenzöllen: Ab 1. Juni würden Abgaben zwischen fünf und 25 Prozent auf US-Importe im Umfang von 60 Milliarden Dollar (53,3 Milliarden Euro) erhoben, teilte die chinesische Regierung am Montag mit.
Am vergangenen Freitag waren höhere Zölle auf chinesische Importe in die USA im Umfang von 200 Milliarden Dollar in Kraft getreten. Die Abgaben stiegen von zehn auf 25 Prozent. US-Präsident Donald Trump ordnete zudem an, eine Zollerhöhung auf so gut wie alle bislang noch ausgenommenen chinesischen Importe vorzubereiten.
Noch am Montagmorgen (Ortszeit) warnte Trump die chinesische Seite vor Gegenmaßnahmen. China “sollte keine Vergeltung üben”, twitterte er.
