ABQnews| Deutschland / Düsseldorf | Steigende Passagierzahlen füllen dem Flughafenbetreiber Fraport die Kassen.
Im ersten Quartal kletterten die Erlöse um fast 18 Prozent auf 804 Millionen Euro, wie der Konzern am Mittwoch mitteilte. Am Flughafen Frankfurt sei die Zahl der Fluggäste trotz der später gelegenen Ostertage um 2,5 Prozent auf 14,8 Millionen gestiegen, weil die Fluglinien neue Reiseziele anboten. Auch an den weiteren zum Konzern gehörenden Airports legten die Passagierzahlen mit Ausnahme Bulgariens zu. Der Betriebsgewinn (Ebitda) kletterte mit 14,8 Prozent zweistellig auf 200,6 Millionen Euro. Unter dem Strich stieg der Gewinn rund 43 Prozent auf 28 Millionen Euro.
