ABQnews| Frankreich / Paris | Frankreichs Präsident Emmanuel Macron gibt heute weitere Antworten auf die seit mehr als fünf Monaten andauernden Sozialproteste: In einer Pressekonferenz äußert sich der Staatschef zu Forderungen der “Gelbwesten” und zu den Ergebnissen der von ihm ausgerufenen “nationalen Debatte” (18.00 Uhr). Die Veranstaltung wird live im Fernsehen übertragen.
Als wahrscheinlich gelten Steuersenkungen, Entlastungen für Rentner und eine Abschaffung der Pariser Elitehochschule Ecole Nationale d’Administration (ENA). Bereits im Dezember hatte Macron Zugeständnisse an die “Gelbwesten” im Umfang von rund zehn Milliarden Euro angekündigt, unter anderem einen höheren Mindestlohn. An dem Bürgerdialog beteiligten sich dann bis Mitte März rund 1,5 Millionen Franzosen.
