ABQnews| Deutschland / Berlin | Bundeslandwirtschaftsministerin Julia Klöckner (CDU) hat geheiratet. Die 46-Jährige feierte ihre Hochzeit mit Ralph Grieser an Ostern in Südafrika, wie die CDU Rheinland-Pfalz am Donnerstag mitteilte. Klöckner ist rheinland-pfälzische Landesvorsitzende der CDU.
Statt Geschenken bat das Brautpaar laut einer Karte um eine Spende unter anderem für eine Benefiz-Radtour für krebskranke Kinder und deren Familien. Das Paar lernte sich 2017 bei einer solchen Radtour nach eigenen Angaben kennen.
Grieser ist Inhaber eines Oldtimerzentrums im rheinland-pfälzischen Mülheim-Kärlich. Zuvor war Klöckner lange mit dem Medienmanager Helmut Ortner liiert.
Seit 2010 ist die Winzertochter und einstige Weinkönigin Landesvorsitzende der CDU Rheinland-Pfalz, seit 2012 auch stellvertretende CDU-Bundesvorsitzende. Von 2002 bis 2011 war die frühere Chefredakteurin des Wein-Fachblatts “Sommelier-Magazin” Bundestagsabgeordnete. Vor der Rückkehr in ihre Heimat war sie Parlamentarische Staatssekretärin im Bundesverbraucherschutzministerium.
