ABQnews| Deutschland / Frankreich / Großbritannien/ EU| Die britische Premierministerin Theresa May kommt heute zu Gesprächen mit Bundeskanzlerin Angela Merkel (CDU) nach Berlin. Sie wird um 12.00 Uhr im Kanzleramt erwartet. Im Zentrum der Unterredung soll nach Angaben der Bundesregierung das weitere Vorgehen beim britischen EU-Austritt stehen. Am Nachmittag reist May weiter nach Paris, wo sie am Abend den französischen Präsidenten Emmanuel Macron trifft.
EU-Chefunterhändler Michel Barnier informiert am Morgen (8.30 Uhr) in Luxemburg die Europaminister der 27 anderen Mitgliedstaaten über die Lage vor dem Brexit-Sondergipfel, zu dem die Staats- und Regierungschefs am Mittwoch zusammenkommen. May hatte zuletzt um einen erneuten Aufschub des Austrittsdatums bis zum 30. Juni gebeten. Ihr mit Brüssel ausgehandeltes Austrittsabkommen war zuvor dreimal im Unterhaus durchgefallen. Ohne Lösung droht ein harter Brexit bereits an diesem Freitag.
