ABQnews| Frankreich / Paris |  Kurz vor neuen Protesten der “Gelbwesten” hat die französische Polizei den Anführer der Bewegung in Grenoble in Gewahrsam genommen. Julien Terrier und sein Mitstreiter Jérôme Bouzendorffer wurden am Samstag im Zuge eines Ermittlungsverfahrens in einer Polizeiwache in der südostfranzösischen Stadt festgehalten, wie die Staatsanwaltschaft mitteilte. Ihnen wird unter anderem die Organisation einer nicht angemeldeten Demonstration vorgeworfen. Terrier war bereits im Dezember wegen ähnlicher Vorwürfe in Gewahrsam.

In Frankreich werden am Samstag neue Proteste der “Gelbwesten” erwartet. Kundgebungen sind unter anderem in der Hauptstadt Paris und in Bordeaux im Westen angekündigt. In Paris setzen sich um 12.00 Uhr und 13.00 Uhr zwei Protestzüge am Triumphbogen über die Champs-Elysées in Richtung Eiffelturm in Bewegung. Es ist der 15. Kundgebungs-Samstag seit Beginn der Proteste Mitte November.

Die Sozialbewegung fordert den Rücktritt von Präsident Emmanuel Macron und eine Abkehr von seinem Reformkurs. Zuletzt war die Beteiligung allerdings rückläufig: Am vergangenen Samstag zählte das Innenministerium landesweit 41.500 Teilnehmer, davon rund 5000 in Paris. Bei den größten “Gelbwesten”-Protesten vor drei Monaten waren es noch mehr als 280.000 Demonstranten.
