ABQnews| Deutschland / Berlin | Sieben Bewerber treten heute (20.15 Uhr) beim deutschen Vorentscheid für den diesjährigen Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) in Israel an. Unter den Startern der in Berlin stattfindenden und live in der ARD laufenden Show “Unser Lied für Israel” sind einer breiteren Öffentlichkeit bislang unbekannte Sängerinnen und Sänger. Wer von diesen für Deutschland am ESC-Finale am 18. Mai teilnehmen darf, entscheiden zu je einem Drittel eine Expertenjury, eine internationale Eurovisionsjury und das Fernsehpublikum.
Im vergangenen Jahr holte Deutschland mit seinem Starter Michael Schulte den vierten Platz. Schulte beendete damit eine mehrere Jahre dauernde Durststrecke mit enttäuschenden Plätzen am Ende des Teilnehmerfelds. Der Vorentscheid wird von Barbara Schöneberger und Linda Zervakis moderiert.
