ABQnews| Türkei / Schweiz / Davos | Die türkische Regierung befürchtet trotz des kräftigen Abschwungs kein Abrutschen in eine Rezession.
Dank der staatlichen Konjunkturhilfen werde dies verhindert, sagte Finanzminister Berat Albayrak am Mittwoch am Rande des Weltwirtschaftsforums in Davos. Er gehe davon aus, dass die Wirtschaft nicht so stark abkühlen werde wie von Experten erwartet und es eine kräftige Erholung gebe. Das Wachstumsziel von 2,3 Prozent in diesem Jahr sei noch in Reichweite. Der türkischen Wirtschaft machen eine hohe Inflation, eine Krise der Landeswährung Lira und Verunsicherung unter Investoren zu schaffen. Nach jahrelangem Boom verlangsamte sich ihr Wachstum im dritten Quartal 2018 deutlich auf 1,6 Prozent.
Einer Erhebung der Nachrichtenagentur Reuters zufolge hat ein Schrumpfen der Wirtschaft bereits eingesetzt. Mit einer Erholung ist demnach nicht vor dem zweiten Halbjahr zu rechnen. Die Regierung versuchte zuletzt unter anderem mit Kredithilfen für kleine und mittlere Unternehmen und Steuererleichterungen die Konjunktur zu stützen.
