ABQnews| Deutschland / Libyen / Tripolis |  Der deutsche Botschafter in Tripolis, Oliver Owcza, ist mit dem Ersten Vizepräsidenten des Präsidentenrates, Ahmed Maitiq, zusammengetroffen, so eine Info über Twitter. Der deutsche Botschafter sagte, dass bei dem Treffen wirtschaftliche Themen erörtert wurden. Wichtig ist, zuzuhören und die aktuelle Wirtschaftspolitik zu besprechen. Ziel ist zu erfahren was Deutschland in diesem Bereich beitragen kann.

Dieses Treffen ist Teil einer Reihe von Treffen zwischen dem deutschen Botschafter und führenden libyschen Beamten sowie Vertretern der wirtschaftlichen Institutionen im Land. Dies ist sein erster Besuch als deutscher Botschafter in der Hauptstadt Tripolis für den er sich viel Zeit genommen hat. Der deutsche Botschafter kommt von Tunis aus wegen der angespannten Sicherheitslage nach Tripolis. Militärische Konflikte zwischen weltlichen Politikern bzw. Gruppen und Politiker/Gruppen die eine Ausbreitung des politischen Islam im Land befürworten, lassen eine ständige Botschaft in Libyen nicht zu.
