ABQnews| USA / Oscar | Der US-Comedian und Schauspieler Kevin Hart wird die nächste Oscar-Zeremonie im kommenden Februar moderieren. Das gab der 39-Jährige am Dienstag im Online-Dienst Instagram bekannt.
“Über Jahre bin ich immer wieder gefragt worden, ob ich jemals Gastgeber bei den Oscars sein würde, und meine Antwort war immer die gleiche”, schreib Hart. “Ich habe gesagt, dass es für mich als Comedian die Chance meines Lebens wäre.” Er sei “so glücklich” jetzt verkünden zu können, dass er nun tatsächlich Gastgeber der Oscar-Show werde.
Der Schauspieler (“Jumanji: Willkommen im Dschungel”, “Night School”) wird auf Talkmaster Jimmy Kimmel folgen, der die Verleihung des wichtigsten Filmpreises der Welt in den vergangenen beiden Jahren moderiert hatte.
Der Druck ist groß: Zuletzt hatten nur noch 26,5 Millionen Menschen die glamouröse Gala im Fernsehen verfolgt, ein historisches Tief. Zum Vergleich: 2014 hatten noch 43 Millionen Menschen zugeschaut. Die 91. Academy Awards werden am 24. Februar verliehen.
